It’s always magical when my interest, comic books/graphic novels and film, intersect in unexpected ways.
Regardless of what apparently everyone else thought about this film I just always come back to the stunningly rich visuals, the universality of patterns in life/love, the fusion of diverse symbolism and to hell with the naysayers.
